Amazon A+ Content brings your brand’s story to life by incorporating videos, enhanced images, shoppable product comparison charts, and more into your product detail pages.

Basic A+ Content can boost sales by up to 8%, while effectively implemented Premium A+ Content can increase sales by up to 20%.

Without A+ Content, you’re limited to 2,000 characters and can’t include images or graphics. A+ Content, however, offers various modules to completely customize your product descriptions, keeping potential customers engaged.

Where Does A+ Content Appear on Amazon?

A+ Content appears under the Product Description section on a product detail page. When you create Amazon A+ Content, it replaces the standard text product description.

Premium A+ Content includes interactive features, larger images, enhanced comparison charts, carousel modules, and video modules.

To qualify for Premium A+ Content, you must:

  • Have all Brand Owned ASINs in your catalog containing a published A+ Brand Story.
  • Have at least five A+ Content project submissions in “Approved” status within the past 12 months.

Premium A+ Content is currently free during a promotional period, but Amazon may charge a fee in the future. Any content published during this promotion will remain live even if a fee is introduced.

  • Brand Registry applications must be submitted by trademark owners.

If your brand is approved, you can start creating Amazon product descriptions using A+ Content for free.

How to Create Amazon A+ Content

  1. Access the A+ Content Manager:
    • In Seller Central, hover over Advertising > A+ Content Manager.
    • Click ‘Start creating A+ content’.
  2. Select the Type of A+ Content:
    • Choose between a Basic “Enhanced Product Description” or a “Brand Story”.
  3. Add Content Name and Language:
    • Create a Basic A+ Content description.
  4. Add Modules:
    • Choose up to seven modules for your A+ Content. Here is a preferred layout:
      • Module 1: Logo
      • Module 2: Image Header With Text
      • Module 3: Standard Image & Dark Text Overlay
      • Module 4: Standard Single Image & Specs Detail
      • Module 5: Standard Single Left Image
      • Module 6: Standard Single Left Image
      • Module 7: Standard Three Images & Text
  5. Apply to ASIN(s):
    • Select the ASINs for which this A+ page will be applied.
  6. Review and Submit for Approval:
    • Refer to Amazon’s A+ Content Guidelines to ensure compliance. The approval process can take up to seven days.
