About the Role 

The Sales Manager role is responsible for managing a territory and selling Tulfa’s content services to C-level Executives and their direct reports. In this role you will prospect for and close 100% Net New Business and then transition closed business to Tulfa’s Account Management teams to ensure retention of the relationship. You will act as a strategic partner to C-level and senior executives and focus purely on establishing new business relationships with non-client organizations within an assigned prospecting territory. 

As a Sales Manager, you will get an opportunity to work on strategizing the growth of Tulfa’s monetization routes. If you are an ambitious, driven individual who can develop new business as well as service existing clients’ requirements, we want to hear from you. Your responsibility will be to ensure that personal monthly and annual sales targets are achieved and exceeded by utilizing your account management, new business development and sales skills.  

What You’ll Do 

  • Identify potential leads, develop and execute strategic alliances to generate revenue 
  • Consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide content strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Tulfa’s services 
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue goals 
  • Prospect, negotiate and close deals; experience in closing larger deals is a plus 
  • Generate leads through online research 
  • Prospect and develop relationships with key decision makers to obtain influence in target accounts 
  • Combine sales training knowledge with a consultative approach to educate prospects and drive value for Tulfa services 
  • Develop understanding of content industry, including Tulfa process, technology and software capabilities 
  • Onboard new clients effectively through internal onboarding process 
  • Utilize Salesforce.com tools to maximize efficiency and review key sales metrics 
  • Maintain consistent execution of Tulfa’s internal sales methodology 
  • Utilize internal sales enablement tools and management process, such as correct use of contracts and following the booking process 
  • Deliver high-quality presentations to C-level executives in the Tulfa format 
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis 
  • Maintain competitive knowledge & focus 

Prerequisites 

  • At least 2-4 years of B2B consultative and solution-based selling experience with a demonstrated track record of quota-carrying success 
  • Proven track record of success and ability to win deals with new and existing clients 
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for problem solving 
  • Demonstrates an ambitious mindset focused on growth and sustained success 
  • Receptive to coaching and willing to acquire and cultivate new sales techniques 
  • Displays resilience, persistence and a willingness to cope with rejection 
  • Thrives as both an individual and a member of a team 
  • Exceptional organization and time management capabilities 
  • Proficient with CRMs, Apple and Windows software, MS Office, Excel and Gmail 
  • Demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen 
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business 
  • Experience selling IT, staffing/recruiting, content or professional services solutions highly preferred 
  • Exceedingly developed sales and negotiation skills 
  • Can confidently articulate and quantify previous successes 
  • Driven by succeeding in challenging and complex sales opportunities 
  • An established sales process and a willingness to build upon previous success using Tulfa’s best practices 
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills 
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations via the telephone with contract decision makers (c-level)
